So you want to cross boundaries or oceans and become a licensed CPA in the United States? You can do that. The accounting profession looks around the world, so the CPA check fits only that the CPA check follows the suit. Here are just a few important things to know.

You will receive your CPA license from a single state.

The AICPA does not license CPAs - it's every condition to do your own way. So choose the status in which you want to be licensed. Then contact the Board of Directors of the State and the CPA Company for details of their requirements. You will tell you which course work you have to meet before you have to sit for the CPA test. You still have to take the CPA test (and pass).

As soon as your educational qualifications meet the requirements of the state forces, you can set yourself for the 14-hour uniform CPA examination, which is part of the license procedure for US CPA credentials. Since the licensing procedure for international candidates follows the same general way like CPA candidates in the United States, they must be applied by a participating US list name of the bookings. After indicating the examination and performance of the necessary experiences or other requirements, the accounting state council would then issue a CPA license.

Good news: You may be able to accept the 4 ВЅ-hour international qualification test (IQEX) instead of the 14-hour uniform CPA check. IQEX is there to facilitate the US CPA certification process of these accounting work from other countries whose specialists in mutual recognition with the American Institute for Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the National Association of Bookkeeping (NASBA) Mutual recognition have occurred. At this time, agreements with the Canadian Institute for Auditor (CICA), Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA), CPA Australia (CPAA), Instituto Mexicano de Contadores Publicos (IMCP), the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (ICAI) and the New Zealand Institute for Auditor (Nzikika). If you go this way, you must meet all other requirements of the state card in the state card in addition to the existence of the IQEX in which you want to be licensed. Each state has some different requirements to become a CPA. The AICPA does not license CPAs and is a voluntary member organization.
